Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to
employees in that employees
were exposed to a fall hazard:
North side of the Steam Turbine Generator Building -- Employee was exposed
to
a fall hazard from the East end of the Steam Turbine at the Crossover to
the
concrete platform:
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this
hazard
would be to erect:
a.Stable, temporary access/egress to the Crossover area at the East end of
the Steam Turbine.
b.Horizontal lifeline from the East end of the structure to the West end of
the structure above the Steam Turbine Generator.
