Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees working from a personnel platform elevated from a rough terrain forklift. Americinn Hotel Jobsite - Employees working from an elevated platform that was not equipped with a guardrail system were exposed to fall hazards. Among feasible means of abatement would be to comply with the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, ASME B56.6a-1994 Safety Standard for Rough Terrain Forklift Trucks. CERTIFICATION REQUIRED FOR THIS ITEM
