29 CFR 1910.132 (a): Protective equipment, including personal protective equipment for eyes, face, head, and extremities, protective clothing, respiratory devices, and protective shields and barriers, was not provided, used, and maintained in a sanitary and reliable condition. (a) Location - Alperts Warehouse On or about 10/02/03, an employee was exposed to the hazard of falling from the Stockpicker platform while moving stock to and from the unguarded platform. Abatement note: 1. Ensure all employees working from the platform stockpicker are protected from falling by providing each a body belt and lanyard or restraining means such as a guardrails whenever the platform can be elevated to a height greater than 1200 mm (47.2 in.) as required in ASME B56.1b-2003 2. Implement and enforce a policy requiring employees who operate or assist operators on platform stockpickers to utilize body belts and tethers as noted in the Crown Stockpicker 15SP48 Training Manual.g
