prevent
employee contact with the hot surface.

1972, American National Standard Safety Requirements for Commercial
Laundry and Dry
Cleaning Equipment and Operations, Section 4, Paragraph 4.1.5 which
states,"all rigid steam
pipes within 7 feet of the floor or working platform with which a person
may come into contact
during the normal operation of any equipment shall be insulated or
otherwise
guarded so as to
prevent burn hazards".
