Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: On or about November 20, 2003, employees operating and working from aerial lifts at the jobsite located at the Vincent Cotton Gin, 942 Pecan Grove Rd. in Crawfordsville, Arkansas were exposed to injuries from falls due to not being protected by the use of a personal fall arrest system. One feasible method of abatement, among others is to initiate and require that personal fall arrest systems in accordance with Section 8.8(g) of the American National Standard Institute, Boom Supported Elevating Work Platforms (ANSI A-92.5-1992)
