A.R.S. 23-403.A.: The employer did not furnish to each of his employees employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to his employees, given that the employer did not ensure that all converter gears were equipped with a counterweight to aid in lifting the hitch. (a) Truck yard: The employer did not provide an adequate means to the employees for lifting the converter gears, used to connect the first and second trailers together, to prevent serious injuries to their hands.
