North Carolina General Statute 95-129(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of North Carolina: The employer did not furnish each of his employees conditions of employment and a place of employment free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to live electrical parts: a)Employer Tony D. Lee failed to provide a temporary labor camp site free from recognized hazards in that migrant farm workers were exposed to live electrical parts: 1) Electrical fuse box on the front porch of the temporary labor camp site had no cover installed exposing live electrical parts. 2) Extension cords were run from a light fixture to a multi outlet power strip with all outlets being used which results in a serious overload of the electrical circuits.
