29 CFR 1910.147(c)(5)(i): Locks, tags, chains, wedges, key blocks, adapter pins, selflocking fasteners, or other hardware were not provided by the employer for isolating, securing, or blocking of machines or equipment from energy sources: a) Daimler Chrysler Corporation worksite, 4400 Chrysler Drive, Toledo, Ohio: On or about September 13, 2004, during glass inspection and/or replacement activities at winshield and quarter glass audit area of the glass cell station located in the trim and chassis department, the employer did not provide locks or similar devices to employees who access and perform work on the skillet deck which sits on and is moved by the transfer conveyor. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
