Labor and Employment Article, Section 5-104(a): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: (a)Date of Violation:11/18/04 Condition:Employees were exposed to hazards of being crushed/struck by collapsing roof trusses due to inadequate bracing. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to install the bracing in accordance with the Truss Plate Institute's recommendations per the BCSI-BI-B2 Summary Sheets.
