P.L. 91-596 Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to the hazard of being thrown out of the operator's seat and being crushed by industrial lift truck: A) Warehouse storage area - for the employees operating Nisson and Toyota fork lifs without wearing seat belts. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptible method to correct this hazard would be to ensure that employees utilize seat belts while operating industrial trucks.ial
