P.L. 91-596 Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to the hazard(s) of unsafe platforms on billboards: a) Magic Media Billboards - A platform safety inspection program has not been developed and implemented for performing maintenance and repair operations. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard is to develop and implement an inspection schedule, and to adhere to the company's "Fall Prevention Guide, General Climbing Safety Procedure" that addresses the hazards to look for with platforms structural conditions.
