Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in
that employees were
exposed to:

proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban expuestos
a:
The requirements applicable to construction work are identical to those
set forth at
1910.180(h)(3)(ix).
At construction site -  Lima FG crane, serial number 2511-18, used for
lifting heavy molds, had
outriggers floats over muddy soil.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to
correct this hazard is
to place wood blocks strong enough to prevent crushing, free from defects,
and of sufficient
width and lenght to prevent shifting or toppling under load.
Hazard:  Loss of balance of the crane.
En el sitio de la construccion - grua Lima FG, numero de serie 2511-18,
usada para levantar
moldes pesados, tenia los platos estabilizadores sobre suelo fangoso.
Entre otros metodos, uno factible y aceptable para corregir este riesgo es
de colocar bloques de
madera lo suficientemente fuertes para evitar aplastamiento, libre de
defectos, y de suficiente
ancho y largo para prevenir el movimiento o el volcarse bajo la carga.
