Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in
that employees were
exposed to:
Seccion 6(a)  de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico:
El patrono no
proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban expuestos
a:
At the university of Puerto Rico - In the library, the Director's office,
had fungi growth over
the established levels (1,000 colonies); the count went over 1,000
colonies.  The count were
1,581 colonies.
Among others methods, one feasible and acceptable method is to perform a
rigurous cleaning
and apply a more concentrated spraying in those places were the count went
over the established
guides.
Hazard: Contract illnesses caused by fungus.
En la universidad de Puerto Rico - En la biblioteca, la oficina del
Director contaba con
crecimiento de hongos sobre los niveles establecidos (1,000 colonias); el
conteo estuvo sobre las
1,000 colonias que establecen las guias.  El conteo fue de 1,581 colonias.
Entre otros metodos, un metodo factible y aceptable es realizar una
limpieza mas rigurosa y
aplicar asperjacion mas concentrada en los lugares donde el conteo estuvo
sobre las guias
establecidas.
Riesgo: Contraer enfermedades causadas por hongos.s
