National, Series 900, hydraulic truck crane, by not following the
manufacturer's procedures
for stowing the jib.
Among other methods, feasible means of abatement include but are not
limited to the
following:
a)Follow the manufacturer's specific procedures for stowing the crane jib
that are
contained on pages 38 and 39 of the operator's and maintenance manual.
OR IN THE ALTERNATIVE
29 CFR 1926.550(a)(1): The employer did not comply with the manufacturer's
specifications
and limitations applicable to the operation of crane(s) or derrick(s):
a)On or about 10/26/2005 and times prior thereto, the employer did not
follow
the manufacturer's procedures to safely inspect the National Series 900,
hydraulic truck crane.
