February
1, 2009, an unqualified employee was exposed to an electrical shock hazard
due to an
unguarded opening in front of the 208/120 Primary Distribution Control
Panel which was
missing a protective cover between breakers 5 and 6 controlling the 208V
breaker panel
#4 for the main deck and the 120V breaker panel #5 for the wheelhouse.
Among other methods, a feasible means of abatement would include
protecting open circuits
with a cover as required by NEC article 111.27(A)(2).
Abatement certification is required for this item.
