Stat. 182.653 subd. 2: The employer did not furnish to each employee, conditions of employment and a place of employment free from recognized hazards which caused or were likely to cause death or serious injury to employees: The piston seal on the right track of the Caterpillar 955 bulldozer operated by city maintenance employees at the Browns Valley landfill is broken, causing the seal to collapse and the track of the bulldozer to spin and "walk off" the wheels.

Stat. 182.653 subd. 2: The employer did not furnish to each employee, conditions of employment and a place of employment free from recognized hazards which caused or were likely to cause death or serious injury to employees: The two battery compartments on the Caterpillar 955 bulldozer operated by city maintenance employees at the Browns Valley landfill did not have a means to secure the batteries in place, therefore, operational movement of the bulldozer caused faulty battery connections and leading the starter to continually engage, and the battery connections to arch.
