fire, explosion or
pest harborage.
(a) On or about 09/02/04, Schenectady International, Inc., Rotterdam
Junction facility,
Quality Control (QC) laboratory's Retain Room, QC laboratory employees
stored
concentrated sulfuric acid and a flammable solvent, hexane, in the same
flammable
storage
cabinet.
Feasible means of abatement include, but is not limited to, the use of a
dedicated and isolated
storage cabinet for acids.
ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED FOR THIS ITEM.
