ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
Feasible means of abatement are:
1.To begin a schedule of periodic inspections by an authorized person as
required
by ASME A17.1-2000 par. 8.11.1, 8.11.2 and 8.11.3.
2.To install either interlocks or mechanical locks which meet the
requirements of
ASME A17.1-2000 paragraph 2.12.1.5 on either the outside or inside and
outside
doors to prevent employees from opening the door when the car is at another
floor.r

ANSI/ASME B30.11-1988 of monorails ranging from .5-ton to 3-ton, used for
lifting rolls of
fabrics (both dry and wet):
(a)On or about 4/8 through 05/25/2005 during the walkaround at this
facility,
employees exposed to failure of various parts of the monorail systems and
lifting
mechanisms used throughout the production areas of the facility, including
but not
limited to the hoist assembly, the lifting chain, the spreader bars, and
hooks.
ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
Feasible means of abatement would be to assign responsibility to a
competent employee using
the ANSI/ASME standard as a guide for performing the frequent inspections
(at least daily,
weekly, or monthly) and periodic inspections (at least quarterly,
semi-annually, annually or other
intervals as recommended by a designated person) depending on use, and to
document, certify
and maintain those inspection records.

25, hypochloric acid and muriatic acid) and flammable liquid (Grancar-NR)
stored together in the hallway between dyehouse and lab.
ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
One feasible means of abatement is to separate the oxydizers from the
flammables by using acid
storage cabinets or room and flammable storage cabinets or room.
