North Carolina General Statute 95-129(1) of the Occupational Safety and
Health Act of North
Carolina:  The employer did not furnish each of his employees conditions
of employment and a
place of employment free from recognized hazards that were causing or
likely to cause death or
serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to
pseudomonas:
a)facility - where employees were exposed to pseudomonas, gram-negative
bacteria,
that was detected in the water chambers and reservoirs for the MT/MTP
Vacuum
Sizing Tanks on lines #2, #3, #4 and in the  #4 & #5 Tank.

Among Other Methods, One Feasible and Acceptable Abatement:
1.Develop and implement a cleaning schedule for the filter screens, water
chambers and
reservoirs and test the water for the presence of bacteria on a routine
basis.
2.Also require employees to wear hand protection while feeding the hollow
tubing through
the rollers in the water chambers.
