replacing a standard lift overhead door were not trained and were not
provided, by the employer, with the manufactures installation
instructions.
ABATEMENT NOTES:
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to
correct this
hazard is to:
Follow the manufacturers installation instructions for standard lift doors
along with
parts list for the specific application. REF: Installation Instructions
and Parts List
from the Distributor. Ensure employees installing overhead doors receive
training,
and copies of manufacturers installation instructions.
