AMONG OTHER METHODS, ONE FEASIBLE AND ACCEPTABLE ABATEMENT
METHOD OF CORRECTING THIS HAZARD IS:
a) Instruct each employee to inspect the crane daily, to ensure all of the
crane's safety devices
are operational.
b) ANSI B30.5-1994, paragraph 5-1.9.9, states that the anti two block
device shall be installed
and be operational.
c) Obtain a copy of ANSI B30.5-1994 and ensure you update your safety
program
accordingly.
