Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in
that employees were
exposed to:

El patrono no
proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban expuestos
a:
At A. Marrero Auto Glass Shop area, it was observed a diesel Max Lite
Electric
Generator without serial number on the shop area. The Generator was used
to provide
energy to the establishment, it was producing a great amount gases inside
the struture.
The employees were seeking glasses and installing its.
Hazard: Inhalation of toxic gases.
Among other correction methods, a feasible and aceptable method to correct
this hazard
is to remove the Electric Generator from the area.
En el taller de A. Marrero Auto Glass, se observo un Generador Electrico
de Diesel
marca Max Lite sin numero de serie en el area del taller, el Generador
estaba siendo
utilizado para proveer energia al establecimiento, este estaba produciendo
una gran
cantidad de gases toxicos en el interior del establecimiento. Los
empleados buscaban y
instalaban cristales de autos.
Riesgos: Inalacion de gases toxicos.
Entre otros metodos de correccion, un metodo aceptable y factible para
corregir este
problema es remover el Generador Electrico del area.rico

At A. Marrero Auto Glass warehouse area, it was observed that the area
have lack of
illumination. The illumination in the area was measures with a light meter
GE DT-24878,
the illumination in the area was 0 Footcandless. As established in the
ANSI A-11.1-1973
all working areas must be properly illuminated. The employees were
retreiving car
windows.
Hazard: Falls.
Among other correction methods, a feasible and acceptable method to
correct this hazard
is fix the area illumination and restablish electric service in the area.
En el almacen de A. Marrero Auto Glass, se observo que el area estaba
falta de
iluminacion. Se midio la iluminacion de area con un metro de luz GE
DT-24878, la
iluminacion en el area era de 0 "Footcandless". Como establecido en el
ANSI A-11.1-
1973 todo los lugares de trabajo deben estar iluminados apropiadamente.
Los empleados
estaban buscando cristales de autos.
Riesgo: Caidas.
Entre otros metodos de correccion, un metodo factible y aceptable para
corregir este
problema es reparar la iluminacion en el area y restablecer el servicio
electrico.r

machine
without trademark defective, the water of the machine process leak into
the machine
electric motor. The employees were polishing car windows.
Hazard: Electric Shocks.
Among other correction method, a feasible and aceptable method to correct
this hazard
is repair the machine and seal the motor.
En el taller de A. Marrero Auto Glass, Se observo una maquina sin marca de
pulir
cristales defectuosa, el agua del proceso de la maquina se filtraba al
motor electrico de
la misma. Los empleados estaban puliendo cristales de autos.
Riesgo: Choques electricos.
Entre otros metodos de correccion, un metodo factible y aceptable para
corregir este
problema es reparar la maquina y sellar el motor.
