Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act:The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in
that employees were
exposed to:
Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El
patrono no proveyo
empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que puedan
causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban
expuestos a:
In the Department of Education Central Level, in the third floor Office of
Accounting,
evidence of water filtration existed by the ceiling due to condensation
problems. The
employees made the following works: payment of invoices, report of
leftovers, prepared
information of monthly income, to take incoming calls among others.
Hazard: Slips and falls.
Among other correction method some feasible and acceptable methods to
correct this
hazard is repair the ceiling.
En el Departamento de Educacion Nivel Central, en el tercer piso Oficina de
Contabilidad existia evidencia de filtracion de agua por el techo debido a
problemas de
condensacion. Los empleados realizaban las siguientes tareas: pago de
facturas, informe
de sobrantes, preparaban informes de ingresos mensuales atendian llamadas,
entre otros.
Riesgo: Resbalones y caidas.
Entre otros metodos uno factible y aceptable para corregir este riesgo
reparar
el techo.r
