Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: At the Housing Finance Authority, the employees were performing works such as: interviewing candidates for the housing program, evaluating clients to determine the elegibility and mantainance in the housing program, attending clients calls, writing legal documents, filling documents among others works. The acoustic ceiling were wet due filtration at the following areas, among others: 1- Loan mortgage at the first floor 2- Files at notarial area at the second floor 3- Resources Humans files at the second floor Hazard: Slips and falls. Among other methods a feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazards is repair the ceiling filtrations. En la Autoridad para el Financiamiento de la Vivienda, los empleados estaban realizando trabajos tales como: entrevistando candidatos para el programa de la vivienda, evaluando clientes para determinar la elegibilidad y el mantenimiento en el programa de la vivienda, atendiendo llamadas de clientes, escribiendo documentos legales, archivando documentos entre otros trabajos. El techo acustico estaba humedo debido a filtraciones en las siguientes areas, entre otras: 1- Prestamo hipotecario en el primer piso 2- Archivos en el area notarial en el segundo piso 3- Archivos de Recursos Humanos en el segundo piso Riesgo: Resbalones y caidas. Entre otros metodos de correccion, uno factible y aceptable para corregir este riesgo es reparar las filtraciones en el techo.ciones
