Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in
that employees were
exposed to:

El patrono no
proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban expuestos
a:
At the "Municipio de Catano- Oficina para el Manejo de Emergencias", the
employees
were performing works such as: computer works, answer the phones, file,
respond to
emergencies, among others. In the typewriter area, it has evidence of
water spots on the
acoustic panels due to water ceiling filtrations.
Hazard: Slips and falls.
Among other correction methods, one feasible and acceptable to correct
this hazard is
repair the ceiling.
En el Municipio de Catano- Oficina para el Manejo de Emergencias, los
empleados
estaban realizando trabajos tales como: trabajos en computadoras,
archivar, contestar el
telefono, responder a emergencias, entre otros. En el area de la
mecanografa,
existia
evidencia de manchas de agua en los paneles acusticos debido a las
filtraciones de agua
en el techo.
Hazard: Resbalones y caidas.
Entre otros metodos de correccion, uno factible y aceptable para corregir
este riesgo es
reparar el techo.r
