Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in
that employees were
exposed to:
Section 6(h) of Puerto Rico Ocupational Safety and Health Act; each owner
premises used in
whole or in part as a place of employment, did not comply with
occupational safety and health
standard and all rules, regulations and orders is this act, with respect
to those parts of the
premises under his control and not of the employer:
Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico:
El patrono no
proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban expuestos
a:
Seccion 6(h) de la Ley de Seguridad  y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico:
Cada dueno de
cualquier local usado todo o en parte como un sitio de empleo, no cumplio
con todas las normas
de salud y seguridad ocupacionales y todas las reglas, reglamentos y
ordenes emitidas de acuerdo
con esta ley, respecto a aquellas partes del local bajo su control y no
bajo el control del patrono:
At the Dept. of Educ. Berwind Superior School, it was observed in the
library  water
filtration in the ceiling and a trash can on the floor receiving the
filtrated water. The
employees were performing public educational works.
Hazard: slips and falls.
Among other methods, a feasible and acceptable method is repair the
ceiling.
En el Dept. De Educ. Esc. Superior Berwind, se observo en la biblioteca
filtracion de
agua por el techo y un zafacon en el suelo recibiendo el agua filtrada.
Los empleados
realizaban trabajos de educacion publica.
Riesgo: Resbalones y caidas.
Entre otros metodos de correccion, un metodo factible y aceptable para
corregir este
problema es reparar el techo.r
