Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: At Bayamon Municipality, Technical Services Office Posterior part, garage area: While employees were using a personnel hoist truck, trademark Teco Vangar #717, which plate was 03196GM, for change light bulbs, among others, was observed that personnel hoist truck had cracks in the basket. Hazard: Basket deatachment. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to change the basket. En el municipio de Bayamon, parte posterior de la Oficina de Servicios Tecnicos, area de la marquesina: Mientras los empleados utilizaban un camion izador de persona, marca Teco Vangar #717, cuya tablilla era 03196GM, para cambiar bombillas entre otros, se observo que el camion izador de persona tenia el canasto astillado. Riesgo: Desprendimiento del canasto. Entre otros metodos, un metodo accesible y aceptable para corregir este riesgo es cambiar el canasto.
