Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in
that employees were
exposed to:
Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico:
El patrono no
proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban expuestos
a:
At the woodworking and nursery classroom of Dorado's Vocational Institute:
While the
employees performed teaching works, among others; it was observed that the
classroom
ceiling presented filtrations in the walls due the acustic tile supports
were rusty and the
walls paint in bags by the humidity.
Hazard: Falls.
Among other methods a feasible and aceptable to correct these hazard is,
to  reeplace the
old ceiling by a new.
En los salones de ebanisteria y enfermeria del Instituto Vocacional de
Dorado: Mientras
los empleados realizaban trabajos de ensenanza entre otros; se observo que
el techo de
los salones presentaba evidencia de filtraciones en las paredes debido a
que las varetas
de los techos acusticos estaban corroidas y la pintura de las paredes en
bolsas debido a
la humedad.
Riesgo: Caidas.
Entre otros metodos de correccion uno factible y aceptable para corregir
este riesgo es,
remplazar el techo viejo por uno nuevo.
