Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized
hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in
that employees were
exposed to:
Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico:
El patrono no
proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban expuestos
a:
At the A and B Cabin's of Bayamon's methadone Center- ASSMCA: While the
employees performing administratives works, such as: answer the phone,
fill documents,
among others, it was observed that the cabin's doors were painted with oil
paint, without
other identification, causing to the employees nausea, sicknees, among
others.
Hazard: Intoxication.
Among other correction methods, a feasible and and acceptable to correct
these hazard
is, to use and inolor painting and or paint out of labor hours.
En las casetas A y B de ASSMCA del Centro de metadona de Bayamon: Mientras
los
empleados realizaban trabajos administrativos, tales como: contestar el
telefono, llenar
documentos, entre otros, se observo que las puertas de las casetas habian
sido pintadas
con pintura de aceite, sin otra identificacion, ocasionando a los
empleados mareos,
nauceas, entre otros.
Riesgo: Intoxicacion.
Entre otros metodos de correccion, uno aceptable y/o factible para
corregir este riesgo
es, utilizar pintura inolora y/o pintar fuera de horas laborables.
