Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in
that employees were
exposed to:

El patrono no
proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban expuestos
a:
At the "Escuela de Troqueleria y Herramentaje", north wing, offices such
as: Economic
Assistance, Secretary, Director and Library. There were observe water
leaks and
evidence of water marks in the acoustic ceiling maths and the walls of the
structure.  The
employees teaching classes of: welding, grinding, milling, late among
other.
Hazard: Slips and falls.
Among other correction method, a feasible and aceptable method to correct
this hazard
is, to seal the roof to correct the water leaks.
En la Escuela de Troqueleria y Herramentaje, ala norte, oficinas tales
como: Asistencia
Economica, Secretaria, Director y Biblioteca. Se observaron filtraciones
de agua y
evidencia de marcas de agua en los plafones acusticos y en las paredes de
la estructura.
Los empleados estaban dando clases de: soldadura, torno, pulido,
rectificado, entre otros.
Riesgo: Resbalones y caidas.
Entre otros metodos de correcion, un metodo factible y aceptable para
corregir este
riesgo es, sellar el techo para corregir las filtraciones.
