Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: Employees exposures to cuts due to nails that protrude from the wood struture of the box platform used on the all terrain forklift. At the Juan J. Manuez School Improvements Project, located on Buenos Aires Street #16, Naguabo: Where the employees were doing their tasks on carpentry, was observed that the wood had protruding nails. This box was placed on the all terrain forklift, trademark Hertz 534C and was used by the employees as plataform. The employees were working the molds of the building structure. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard is to repair or replaced box. Empleados expuestos a cortaduras debido a que los clavos sobresalen en la madera de la caja colocada en el montacarga para terreno escabroso. En el Proyecto Mejoras a la Escuela Juan J. Maunez, localizado en la Calle Buenos Aires #16, Naguabo: Donde los empleados realizaban sus tareas de carpinteria, se observo que la madera utilizada tenia clavos que sobresalian. Esta caja estaba colocada en el montacarga para terreno escabroso marca Hertz 534C y era utilizada por los empleados como plataforma. Los empleados estaban arreglando los moldes de la estructura. Entre otros metodos, un metodo apropiado y aceptable para corregir este riesgo es arregalr o reemplazar la caja.lazar
