Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in
that employees were
exposed to:
Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico:
El patrono no
proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban expuestos
a:
Unsafe use of industrial mowers because employees lacked formal training
in the safe operation
of the Ground Master 325-D 72 inches mowing machines.  Employees were
operating mowing
machines to mown the grass on the golf curse.  Among other methods, one
feasible and
acceptable method to correct this hazard is provide and document training
on
the safe use on all
different kinds of industrial machines used by the employees.
Uso inseguro de cortadoras de grama industriales debido a que los
empleados le faltaba
adiestramiento formal en el uso de maquina de cortar grama Ground Master
325-D 72 pulgadas.
Empleados estaban operando maquinas de cortar grama industriales para
cortar grama de los
campos de golf.  Entre otros metodos, uno factible y aceptable para
corregir este riesgo es
proveer y documentar adiestramiento en el uso seguro de todos los tipos de
maquinas industriales
usadas por los empleados.
