Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in
that employees were
exposed to:

El patrono no
proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban expuestos
a:
Employees exposed to falls due to the wet floor. At the Caribbean Meatl
Fabricator,Inc.,
located on Parque Industrial El Comandante c/R Local 1 y 2, Carolina, it
was observed
that the floor of the second building near of the sandblasting area was
wet by roof leak.
The employees transit by this area to access their working areas, where
they doing their
tasks.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to
correct this
hazard is give leak treatment in the roof of the building.
Empleados empuestos a caidas debido al piso mojado. En Caribbean Metal
Fabricator,Inc., localizado en el Parque Industrial El Comandante c/R
Local 1 y 2, se
observo que el piso del segundo edificio cerca del area de "sandblasting"
estaba mojado
por filtraciones de techo. Los empleados transitan por esa area para
accesar sus areas de
trabajo, donde ellos realizaban sus tareas.
Entre otros metodos, un metodo accesible y aceptable para corregir este
riesgo es dar un
tratamiento para filtraciones en el techo del edificio.nes
