Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in
that employees were
exposed to:
Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico:
El patrono no
proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban expuestos
a:
Windows cracked glasses that could shater were exposing employees to cuts
in case the windows
break an finaly explode or shater, employees were performing their duties
on the reception and
"reten"area of the "Cuartel de Policia de Autopista de Ceiba".
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this
hazard is to replace
the cracked glasses.
Cristales de ventanas astillados que podrian explotar o terminar de
romperse estaban exponiendo
a empleados que realizaban sus labores cerca de los cristales astillados a
cortaduras.  Los
cristales astillados se encuentran en la recepcion y reten de Cuartel de
Policia de Autopista de
Ceiba.
Entre otros metodos, uno factible y aceptable para corregir este riesgo es
re-emplazar los
cristales astillados.

Employees exposeed to slips and falls  due to wet floors during rainy
days.   The water filtrated
from windows to the floor.  Employees were performing their duties on the
reception and
"reten"area of the "Cuartel de Policia de Autopista de Ceiba".
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this
hazard is to replace
the cracked glasses and replace the window frames.
Empleados expuestos a resbalones y caidas debido a pisos mojados durante
dias lluviosos.  El
agua se filtraba por cristales astillados y marcos de ventanas oxidados.
Los empleados
realizaban sus deberes en area de recepcion y reten del Cuartel de Policia
de Autopistas de
Ceiba.
Entre otros metodos, uno factible y aceptable para corregir este riesgo es
re-emplazar los
cristales astillados y los marcos de las ventanas.
