Maintenance Shop.  The Jet horizontal bandsaw was not equipped with an
anti-automatic
restart device to prevent the automatic restart of the saw upon the
restoration of power
after a power failure/interruption.
One feasible means of abatement would be to comply with the American
National
Standards Institute, Inc. standard, ANSI B11.20-2003 "Safety Requirement
for Metal
Sawing Machines", Sections 6.7 and 6.11
and/or
ANSI/NFPA 79-2002 "Electrical Standard for Industrial Machinery", Section
7.5
There is no abatement certification or documentation required for this
item.
