Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in
that employees were
exposed to:
Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico:
El patrono no
proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban expuestos
a:
a)At 3-1, 2-1 classrooms and the library at Mariano Riera Palmer School -
It had
evidence of water spots through the ceiling and walls due to the facilities
deterioration.  The employees were observed performing educational works.
Hazard:  slips and falls.
Among other correction method, some feasible and acceptable methods to
correct
this hazard is repair the ceiling.
a)En los salones 3-1, 2-1 y la biblioteca de la Escuela Mariano Riera
Palmer - Se
observo evidencia de manchas de agua a traves del techo y paredes debido al
deterioro de las facilidades.  Los empleados fueron observados realizando
sus
trabajos de educacion.
Riesgo:  caidas y resbalones.
Entre otros metodos de correccion, un metodo factible y aceptable para
corregir
este riesgo es reparar el techo."
