Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards
that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees
in that employees
were exposed to:
Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico:
El patrono no
proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban expuestos
a:
a)Worksite, office environment, air conditioning ventilation - Clorox
detergent
store inside the office area.
Hazard:  indoor air quality is affected by indoor contaminant sources (by
example clorox odors; employees exposed to indoor air quality problems.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to
correct this hazard is:  to relocated  the clorox outside of the office
area with
keys or change the detergent to another make (ECO_LAB company), Star
Brite the Jany Clean.
a)Lugar de trabajo, ambiente de oficina, ventilacion por aire
acondicionado -
Detergente clorox era almacenado dentro de la oficina.
Riesgo:  la calidad de aire interior es afectada por fuentes internas de
contaminantes por ejemplo olores a clorox; empleados expuestos a problemas
de calidad de aire interno.
Entre otros metodos, un metodo factible y aceptable para corregir este
riesgo
es:  relocalizar el clorox fuera del area de oficina con llave o cambiar el
detergente por otro como Eco-Lab Star Brite de Jany Clean."
