Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in
that employees were
exposed to:
Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico:
El patrono no
proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban expuestos
a:
a)At Sears sentry box - The stairway that gave access to the sentry box
have losen
steps. The employee was observed performed vigilance work.
Hazard:  falls.
Among other correction method, one feasible and acceptable method is screw
the
steps.
a)En la garita de Sears - Las escaleras que daban acceso a la garita
tenian los
escalones sueltos.  El empleado fue observado realizando sus trabajos de
vigilancia.
Riesgo:  caidas.
Entre otros metodos de correccion, un metodo factible y aceptable es
atornillar
los escalones."

estaban expuestos
a:
a)At Mayaguez Mall facilities - The employees of Capitol Security Police,
Inc.,
were not provided of rain protection, when they was performed vigilance in
the
sentry box.  Due to the scope of the work, the employees can not leave the
work
area when was raining.
Hazard:  exposure to extreme weather conditions.
Among other correction methods, one feasible and acceptable method is
provided
a rainproof cape.
a)En las facilidades del Mayaguez Mall - Los empleados de la compania
Capitol
Security Police, Inc., no fueron provistos de proteccion para la lluvia,
cuando
estos realizaban sus trabajos de vigilancia en la garitas.  Debido a la
naturaleza
del trabajo, los empleados no podian dejar sus puestos de trabajo cuando
estaba
lloviendo.
Riesgo:  exposicion a condiciones climatologicas extremas.
Entre otros metodos de correccion, un metodo factible y aceptable es
proveerles
capas a los empleados."
