Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: a)Noise and unhealthy environment. Employees were working on a room created to be a carpenters shop but was using it as three classrooms with no divisions between the groups. The roof is in zinc and when rain it make so much noise that the teachers had to raise their voices over this and over the voice of the other teachers. One solution is to move the students and teachers to a classroom where they are not disturbed by the noises from the other teachers nor from the rain that fall over roof. a)Ruido y ambiente no salubre. Empleados estaban trabajando en un cuarto creado para un taller de carpinteria pero lo estaban utilizando como tres salones de clase sin divisiones entre los grupos. El cuarto tiene techo en zinc y cuando llueve el ruido que produce es mas alto que el maestro tiene que gritar para que los estudiantes los oigan a estos y sobre la voz de los otros maestros. Una solucion es mover estos estudiantes y maestros a un salon de clase donde no sean interrumpidos por los ruidos que producen los otros maestros, ni por los que se producen cuando llueve sobre el techo del salon."
