Nevada Revised Statute 618.375(1): The employer failed to furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or were likely to cause death or serious physical harm to his employees: The employer failed to ensure that employees did not ride in unsafe location on vehicle as follows: (a)At the parking lot area, next to the cooling tower's, an employee was observed riding in the cargo area of a Club Car Carryall-1, serial number F9618-497085, exposing the employee to serious injuries. Reference: Club Car Owner's Manual: PAGE 21 - Warning: Do not allow passengers in the cargo bed. No more than two people should be on the vehicle at one time. One feasible means of abatement is to make sure that the manufacturer's manual is read, understood and all safety warning's are followed.
