SCRR 71-112A: Failed to furnish a place of employment which is free of recognized hazards which may cause death or serious physical harm to his employees and comply with this under Chapter 15 of Title 41, Code of Laws, State of South Carolina, 1976, as amended, as follows: A. Employer knew or should have known that employees driving a TCM, Equipment Number Eight, forklift, were exposed to the hazard of being thrown from the seat in the event of a rollover. A feasible and useful method of abatement, among others, is to install an operable seat belt and enforce its use. B. Employer knew or should have known that employees working on, near, or around steam pipes on boiler were exposed to the hazard of being burned. A feasible and useful method of abatement, among others, is to cover and or insulate the exposed pipes on the boiler in the maintenance shop.
