Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to electrical hazards: Mixing Room: At the time of the inspection, on or about 11/1/2005, the cover on the main breaker box was removed, exposing employees to the hazard of being shocked or electrocuted by live electrical parts in the panel. One feasible and useful method to correct the hazard, among others, would be to: De-energize the breaker panel and install the appropriate cover on the breaker box.
