Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970. The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to fall hazards when personnel brackets were not installed properly: a) Constable Elementary School, 29 Constable Road, Kendall Park, South Brunswick, NJ 08824. Employees were exposed to fall hazards while working on a welded tubular scaffold in that the bottom section of a personnel bracket was not installed properly. ONE FEASIBLE AND ACCEPTABLE METHOD TO CORRECT THIS HAZARD, AMONG OTHER MEANS, WOULD BE FOR THE COMPANY TO ENFORCE THEIR EXISTING SAFETY AND HEALTH PROGRAM AND PROVIDE ADDITIONAL TRAINING FOR INSPECTION, ERECTION AND DISMANTLING PROCEDURES IN ACCORDANCE TO THE MANUFACTURER'S RECOMMENDATIONS BEFORE THE SCAFFOLD IS USED.
