Section 5(a)1 of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish to each of his employees employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: a) On or about 01/28/05, at Aqua Isles of LaBelle, an employee was exposed to a fall hazard while working from a loader bucket approximately 10 feet from the ground level without any means of fall protection. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to utilize an aerial lift. PLEASE NOTE: DOCUMENTATION AND CERTIFICATION OF ABATEMENT IS REQUIRED FOR THIS VIOLATION.
