Section 5(a)1 of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish to each of his employees employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: On or about 09/30/05, an employee was standing under a backhoe's bucket. Among other methods of abatement, one feasible and acceptable method is to prohibit employees from standing under the bucket of a backhoe. PLEASE NOTE: DOCUMENTATION AND CERTIFICATION OF ABATEMENT ARE REQUIRED FOR THIS VIOLATION.
