(a)Throughout Lincoln Park - A Landscape worker was observed riding in the
bucket of a 310E Deere backhoe loader while unloading trees at various
locations,
on or about February 8, 2005.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement methods to
correct the hazard is
to train operators and other landscape workers to comply with the
manufacturer's
recommendations, warnings, and other aspects in the owner's manual for the
John Deere 310E
backhoe loader on the machine; prohibit employees from riding or standing
in the bucket of the
loader.
