Labor and Employment Article, Section 5-104(a), Annotated Code of Maryland: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: (a)Date of Violation:11/10/05 Location:Orion Circle near Club House Condition:Employees cutting asphalt in the roadway were not wearing reflective vests. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to provide employees with reflective clothing to alert vehicular traffic of the employees in the roadway. The proposed penalty for this item has been reduced by 50for effective and efficient abatement during the inspection.
