Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to stuck by and crushing hazards relating to the use of a Bobcat skid steer/loader: (a)204 Wynwood Road, York, Pennsylvania - An employee was struck by a Bobcat Skid Steer/Loader. The employer had not provided employees with an adequate understanding of the dangers of working around the equipment, on or about January 6, 2006. Abatement Note: Feasible means of abatement includes, but not limited to, is to provide training and demonstrate the limited visibility of the equipment. VERIFICATION REQUIREDTION
