North Carolina General Statute 95-129(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of North Carolina: The employer did not furnish each of his employees conditions of employment and a place of employment free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: (Ref. American National Standard (ASME B30.16-1993 para. 16-1.2.9 a)facility, Jack Shop - the latch that provided bridging for the throat opening on the hook on 2 ton underhung hoist was damaged on one and missing on the other. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to conduct thorough and regular safety inspections of the facility and correct any deficiencies that are noted.encies
