Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Friday's jobsite located at the corner of Grand Prairie and War Memorial Drive/approximately 15 feet above grade. An employee, working from a pallet being raised by a fork lift, was exposed to fall related hazards. a) The pallet was not approved and rated for such use. b) The employee was not provided any means of fall protection. c) The operator left the controls of the forklift. Among the feasible means of abatement would be to comply with ASME/ANSI B56.1 - 1992, Safety Standard for Rough Terrain Forklift Trucks CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION
